Over 16 years experience performing the harp at weddings and events. After gaining a Bachelor of Music with Honours at the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music and Drama (now The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), Charlotte built her career as a soloist as well as performing with Scotland’s best orchestras and ensembles in some of the country’s most prestigious venues.
She has appeared on film and radio and also enjoyed recording as a session harpist. Her real passion remains as a wedding and events harpist which allows her to connect with her audience on a more personal level.
From Castles to concert halls, gardens, old ruins, rustic barns, libraries, churches museums, hotels and conference centres, Charlotte has played in hundreds of Scotland’s most well-loved venues. There is no place that the harp does not sound breathtaking.

Charlotte played our wedding Last Saturday at the lodge at Loch Lomond and honestly I could not recommend her highly enough, the communication throughout was excellent right through to picking the perfect songs for the key moments in the ceremony. Clients often ask me ‘how do I select my music?’
What atmosphere are you trying to achieve? Do you want an emotional ceremony or something more upbeat and quirky? How about something your guests will recognise as meaningful to you and your partner’s story?
Some people have songs that are sentimental to them, think about music that was playing when you first saw your partner across a dimly lit bar or the song that was in the background as your partner got down on one knee? Do you have a song that gets the two of you up dancing or reminiscing about the best times? THOSE are your song choices right there.
As always, I’m more than happy to recommend songs to complete your list if you need some inspiration.
I also offer a consultation to listen to and select some of your wedding music. You and your partner can browse my repertoire list and request any samples you would like to hear live. This is a great choice for people who have no idea what they would like but would love to explore all the different genres the harp has to offer!
I have 5 different packages that offer music at various different times of your day which include music as guests are seated, during your ceremony (including entrance music, signing the register and exit music), during your drinks reception and finally your evening meal.
I am however flexible to incorporate extra songs into the ceremony and/ or at any additional points during the day that aren’t already listed.
Of course! I love expanding my repertoire! As long as you give me at least one month’s notice to purchase, arrange for harp and learn your new song, I’d be more than happy to accommodate your musical wishes! I love a new challenge so no genre is off limits!
